Judicial Review Reform: All about the money, money, money?  – Angela Patrick

RCJ restricted accessAs MPs and Peers consider the Civil Legal Aid (Remuneration)(Amendment)(No 3) Regulations and the Criminal Justice and Courts Bill, Angela Patrick, Director of Human Rights Policy at JUSTICE considers the Lord Chancellor’s view that proposed judicial review changes do not restrict access to judicial review remedies or restrict the rule of law.

Tomorrow (Thursday), MPs will consider a series of detailed amendments to the Government’s proposed changes to judicial review in the Criminal Justice and Courts Bill.  The proposed changes to legal aid for judicial review are not up for debate. The Regulations, which will restrict legal aid to only those cases granted permission, are already made and due to come into force on 22 April.  There will be no debate on those changes, unless MPs and Peers demand one.

For Empaths and Sensitives Suffering from the Effects of Narcissistic Abuse

A very good article … Thank you …

Kim Saeed's avatarLet Me Reach with Kim Saeed

“The heart nature of Empaths and Sensitives yearns for the world to be just.  We want nothing more than love, justice, and truth.” ~ Jenna Forrest

Healing Empath

One of the reasons that Empaths and Sensitives are subconsciously drawn to Narcissists is because we come into the world wanting to fix people and things that are broken and/or unjust.  We are here to help heal other people.  When we enter into a relationship with a Narcissist, we spend copious amounts of time and energy trying to force lessons onto the Narcissist to correct their heart and make them more loving.

What we don’t realize is that they have their own lessons to learn, of which we cannot assist.  The fact that they often don’t learn from their mistakes is a lesson in itself.  In the meantime, we remain confused and hurt because we cannot comprehend how another human being seems to lack…

Good afternoon Little Men…

I hope you both are doing great and having a fun day …..

I am writing now as it is so dark with massive Thunder here I think we will be having a power cut shortly again in normal African style ……

I have been at my desk most of today , doing research for a new project , I think the printer has worked overtime and I have financial and population statistics coming out of my ears …lol , it’s days like this that I miss having a PA , makes me realise I am great at gathering information but do not like re formatting it into reports so much ….. Not even to mention the risk of paper cuts and stable injuries….lol… But I must say I have learned lots today …. As they say we are never to old to learn ……

Can’t believe the weekend is here again , this week has flown by , I am going to see some friends over the weekend if all goes to plan as I think next week might be a little crazy but all good as I do crazy really well..lol…

Olibear I hope your follow up at the hospital has gone well and that the issue is all sorted now and you can get on with more fun things with Oscbear then having to be in pain and see doctors ….

Don’t know what you muppets have up your sleeves for this weekend but I hope it will be lots of fun , safe happy times …I see people say the weather is not great for you again but I really hope you get to go have some fun outside maybe with B &B also ….I do hope that you both are looking after them well and enjoying all the love they give you …makes me feel a little bit better knowing you both are getting some love at least even if it is only from your pups …….

O no , it has just stated raining I see …. Looks like the floods might be back ..not good as I think so many people are still displaced and homeless from the last lot of rain we had ….. , the potholes in the road sure is still a sign that the rain is still very fresh in all our memories …. I have seen some photos of the city were cars only have their roofs showing after driving into sinkholes from the floods …..not good to say the least …..

I think it is the perfect day for pancakes with lots of butter sugar and nutmeg … Yes , yes I know that sounds strange as you eat pancakes with lemon and sugar …we don’t … Nothing as nice as rolled pancakes like I said with lots of butter , sugar and nutmeg left to melt and go all soft …yum , yum ….. I think you both might love them also , should you ever get the opportunity to try them …… My Ouma use to make them for us as little boys and she would roll them and wrap them in foil to stay warm and melt ….just talking about it with you both now I get the smell of what her kitchen use to smell like when she made them for us ….funny how talking about something makes you sense it ….I guess it’s the same as when I smell lavender it reminds me of you both as you always use to have a fun bubble bath with the baby lavender stuff ….well I think the bath was fun for you two maybe not so much for me and your paid surrogate as you both always found it very funny to try and stand up in the bath or climb over the side … You always got the tap end Oscar not sure why , I think maybe because you would sit still until Olibear would start his tricks …..makes me smile big time thinking about that …..lol , I hope you both are a little better at baths now but then again most little boys are not keen on bath time ….not the end if the world ……

Sorry champs I am rambling again …..just want to wish you both a great Friday full of fun and giggles …..

I will see you both later tonight under our big old green tree in dream land …maybe pack a flashlight as I think we are going to be at candle light tonight again …..can’t wait for my dream bear cuddles and smiles ……

Night , night little men , happy dreams of great big pancakes ….yes with nutmeg….

Love you both tons and tons and miss you more than tons ….

Love you champs …..always ..

Dad xx

A simple spark to brighten your spirit ~~ enjoy always

Very true words little men…..

Hopefully you woke with a spark in your spirit that something you are focused on will indeed come through. We all need something to keep us going and inspire the drive to create something better for ourselves. What if we carried just a small consideration of that same drive to keep those around us safe from harm, all forms of harm. Not to shelter them from knowing the REAL world and pitfalls that trap us, but to keep them personally safe. It is one thing to experience a life skill, but being beaten or controlled, trapped & used as an object – this is not a harm which any living being should have to endure. We don’t allow it for our pets, our farm animals, so why in the world do we turn away when it is a child in our family circle? No more friends. You can choose to…
