Hello Little Men!

Hope my Champs are well and safe today and that you both have had a good start to the week 🙂

I am back early at the hotel tonight , it’s just after 8 pm but it was a Long day ! First day back after Eid holidays here for a week so the guys have not been on top of their game , I guess it will take them a couple of days now again to get back to normal.

It’s cool down here a fair bit compared to June , don’t get me wrong it’s still very hot , but at least you don’t look like you have been for a swim when you come off the production floor.

The hotel has gone all out for me , they gave me a full apartment this time , it’s really nice and it seems to have great wifi signal thus I shall try and do some video updates for you over the next couple of days.

O before I forget ,I have to share this picture with you , not sure where it is from but it made me giggle , it’s maybe just what B&B needs a little playmate 🙂

I hope it gives you monkeys a giggle also …

I think it is early to bed for me tonight as I need to try and reset the jet lag clock ASAP or I will be awake each night again which is not so much fun as I have a limited amount of time here now and have a fair lot to get done.

I have not been able to speak with Ouma and Oupa yet as they are running around with some stuff so I might try say hello to them when the lads go for prayers tomorrow afternoon.

I see your little blog has had a huge spike in traffic last week and the weekend and your twitter account is almost at 300 , have been chatting with some lovely people via them again with some very , very sad but similar stories to ours.

I need to try and catch up on the other Facebook groups admin stuff but will do that on Sunday I guess when we are off as I have not contributed much the past couple of weeks to them so need to spread my free time and your story to all the sites , I see I have had 23 responses to the media mega phone thing on my first trial email to see if it works.

Well muppets as always then I shall see you both under our big old green tree in dreamland , I think I might be waiting for you two tonight , so I will make sure I keep you both a nice spot in the shade 🙂

Hello Little Men !

I hope my muppets had a great Sunday and that you are now already well away in dreamland…..

Sorry that this update has no pictures but it seems the wordpress update that was done a couple of weeks ago does not allow me to upload pics from my library in airplane mode , not so sure what that is all about …

Back to today , we are at around 36000 ft high just going over Kenya as I am writing , I think we are around 3 hours from Dubai. It feels like a long flight today , no movie I want to watch , the comedy shows are all episodes I have seen before and I have not had the guts to carry on reading the book I blogged yesterday , I downloaded it on the iPad kindle app so will try read it in the evenings over the next couple of days.

O as you both have never flown with me , I am not so keen on chatty people who sit next to me , so I got my normal window seat over the emergency exit so I can have some space and this young guy maybe 25 puts his bag down , as he does this he’s hand comes out to introduce himself , in my mind of course this sets off the alarm bells to say we have a chatter ! , well turns out his name is Peter , he was on the isle seat and the seat between us is empty , O and he has not tried to chat …which is great ! Thus a false alarm , lol , or maybe he could see I might not be a chatter today ……

I know it sounds stupid muppets but I hate having to make conversation for the sake of conversation , as you both know I love people but it’s just something about being in or on an aircraft that makes me want to be left in peace.

Ouma and Oupa kindly agreed to take me to the airport today , I think they were both a little sad when they dropped me as I am not exactly sure when I will be back or seeing them again but I guess as I have decided Africa is home base, I will be back at some stage in the near future.

So tomorrow is a little not so fun day as I am being picked up around 3 hours after I land from the hotel for work and I am going 3 hours forward in time also thus zero sleep , full day at work , 50 degrees , first day back after Eid break all should make for some giggles if nothing else 🙂

Sorry Champs feels like I am rambling again ;

So as we are at the start of a new week once more I just want to wish you both a safe , fun , full of learning one ! , hope you get to have a great big adventure each and every day as Little Men should , be that building a castle from parts of the sofa and blankets to seeing if pasta really sticks to the ceiling if it is over cooked 🙂

Whatever you find yourselves doing this week just always know life is made to be lived , don’t take things to seriously and try and have an adventure each and every day as that is what memories are made of and as you both get older you will realise the value of memories………..

Well muppets as I don’t sleep on flights as I have told you before , I hope you both are having a great big adventure in dreamland , but know that I am thinking off you both and sending you big cyber dream bear cuddles …….

Good Evening Little Men!

How are my muppets doing on this lovely Saturday evening ? I hope well and safe !

I must say I don’t know where the time went today , just saw it was 7 pm already , don’t think I did much today , I went out to the mall this morning to sort some bills etc before I leave and then sorted all my work files and packed , so a day of nothing’s ….. O and I checked that I have all the soft copies of the Court stuff ready for the Court of appeal’s in London for end of September , least the Judgement Mumby passed down on Friday again shows that part of the legal system works , am really proud of Sam and her husband for staying strong and getting that one over the line 🙂 and I hope their family will have a great and happy life together soon ….

I am switching over to the 3 mobile phone brigade in the morning again and then Tuesday it might have to be 4 😦 …. Not sure if I will have wifi on the flight so you might only get a Hello from me to check in when I get to Dubai but don’t stress I will make sure to check in and see if you both are oki doki 🙂

I am really excited about the next 3 months , a huge challenge but hey that’s when I am at my best when I am under big pressure doing 10 things at the same time , looking forward to spending time with our other teams as some of them I have not seen for almost a year now. Not looking forward to having to have Raki so much 🙂

Looking at things I might have two or three days back here also at some stage but dates are not firm , when I checked in online now on the Emirates IPad app I see I have flown 78000 miles since January this year , was a bits shocked as that means I have done more than 150 000miles the past year which I think is my most time in the air ever , no wonder the girls here at the Emirates check in greats me by name now already before I give them my passport , lol

Well monkeys I hope you two will have a nice Sunday , maybe they will take you for a nice roast dinner as I am sure this months benefits ChQ must have been paid in on Friday , best get your share muppets before Tesco has the Booz sale as you know then she will spend it all before you get to have any fun with the governments money , as it will all end up in her wine glass , and don’t forget the codeine powder and pain killer mix.

So as always little men I can’t wait to see you both a little later under our big old green tree in dreamland , packing you some big travel bear dream cuddles … I just packed your Paddington’s also , I am pretty sure little Oliver and Oscar are the world most traveled little bear’s by now , the Harrods pups are staying with Ouma this time to have some fun with my Ouma’s porcelain dolls ..pretty sure that can only mean trouble when the lights go out and they all start having a mess about 🙂
