This poor boy six years old has been separated from his parents who have been arrested after British authorities issued a European arrest warrant. He is now alone in a Spanish hospital, there’s obviously nothing wrong with Spanish hospitals they may well be better than British but in addition to his very serious illness and the arbitrary removal of his parents Ashya may now have to cope with a language barrier, and basically the reason seems to be a disagreement over the best treatment available for him.

We or rather the courts need to know the advantages and disadvantages of the Proton treatment as it would apply to Ashya. This is the treatment his parents want and are prepared to pay for him to receive. It needs to be compared to the treatment he was receiving in the British hospital, and then we need to look at the potential side…
